The benefits of testing software are well-known. It uncovers bugs, enhances the development process, and helps write high-quality code. However, getting started with testing frameworks and unit testing can be complicated. The goal of this talk is to cover setting up a unit test framework for a JUCE plugin and getting started with the framework. During the talk, some practical unit tests will be presented. These example test cases range from simple sanity checks to verifying the audio processor output.

IF YOU ARE ATTENDING ONLINE, ALL TALK SESSIONS CAN BE ACCESSED FROM THE MAIN LOBBY: https://conference.audio.dev

I'm an embedded software developer by profession, a musician by passion, and a hobbyist audio programmer because I'm hoping to find a way to combine these two things somehow. Lately, I've been focusing on Linux, C++ and testing.
