ADC X Dynamic Cast - Practical Software Engineering

In the workshop we will share some techniques used in everyday programming work in order to prepare you for contributing to large code bases we deal with in professional contexts.

We will discuss how to read and analyze code, find entry points into a complex system in order to add features or debug problems as well as make sure your code is well-designed and therefore easy to maintain, change or build upon. We’ll also look into building and sharing your programs.

Dynamic Cast - Who Are We?

Dynamic Cast is a peer-to-peer C++ study group, a safe space for underrepresented groups (women, LGBTQIA+, minority ethnic). Both Dynamic Cast workshops at ADC are designed to create an entry point to the industry for newcomers, everyone is welcome.

Requirements for this Workshop
TBA > Keep an eye out for an email closer to the event.

A laptop and paper/pen would be beneficial, but no one will be turned away.
