I got my Bachelor's Degree in Informatics Engineering at Telkom University, and now I am a junior learner at Apple Developer Academy @ BINUS (focusing on iOS Development). Music has been one of my hobbies since high school, and I was curious if I could combine my hobby with my informatics engineering major. Because I joined the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, I decided to work on a Music Information Retrieval (MIR) research called “Music Emotion Classification” for my undergraduate thesis — in other words, you can call this MIR field as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning for Music. Realizing that AI/ML for Audio is not yet ready in the Indonesian Industry, I need a backup plan. During my Interaction Design elective course in the 6th semester, I learned about the importance of user research, observation, prototyping and testing before developing an actual product. So, I wanted to learn about creating the right solution for the existing problem from end-to-end by combining Research, Design, Tech and Business knowledge at the Apple Developer Academy @ BINUS. Right now, I'm in a dilemma between jumping into the Audio and Music Technology field or staying focused on iOS Development for my career. Feel free to connect and chat with me :)
